Recent news studies indicate that Michigan metropolitan areas are not kind to single squirrels... er, people. Pick MI Date understands that it is not the easiest for singles to mingle no matter what corner of the mitten or globe you rock out.
Each week, the contestants who gain the most votes, will receive an all expense paid date at a locally owned restaurant, transportation may be included!
The audience members who cast their vote for the winning couple will also receive cool stuff at random.
Random prizes will also be given away... depending on our mood.
Our objective is simple: get people off the couch (not in a Tom Cruise sort of way), highlight locally owned businesses, and discover what Michigan downtowns have to offer. It is a fun and interactive way for audience members to win cool prizes; for singles to score a date and have a great night out on the town.

Your application will then be added to the amazing pool of contestants. Easy. |
You will be notified of your selection by email/phone 1 week prior to being on the site, 14-17 days from the actual date. For example, we will notify you on the 1st, voting will commence on the 8th, for your date that will be on the 14th. Simple.
If the selected date does not work for your schedule, you will have a short opportunity to respond to us notifying your ineligibility, and you will be thrown back in to the pool of contestants for a later date.
Once voting commences, you will be notified by email, which will state the details of the date (location, time, etc.). Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty enough time to go out and buy some cool duds for the date….and your hair did.
-The winning couple (based on highest combination of votes) receives a private date including dinner and after dinner entertainment. Transportation is provided on occuation.*
-Everyone else receives prizes from the participating businesses. Specials occasions will call for group dates.
* These prizes could be modified occasionally…all depending on availability, water levels in the surrounding areas, and kite string. Many establishments may provide other items, depending on the participating local Michigan business.

Yes, we encourage that, and yes, you can vote for yourself and the person you would prefer going on the date with! Let other people know…spread the word (facebook, twitter, message in a bottle cast out in one of our Great Lakes are all good options) |

We reveal the newest contestants every Monday at 9 am EST, which kicks in the voting. Voting ends at noon on Friday EST. Winners announced at 3 pm EST. |
